The Life Quality Index is an amalgamation of the eight dimensions of health and well-being that appear on your dashboard (health, self-image/self-esteem, purpose, career, social life, finance, brain power, emotions).
It is a useful reminder to look at all areas of your life working together to contribute to your well-being. An excess in one area does not mean you can afford to let the other areas slip – total financial security cannot make up for chronic pain, for example. Getting to your own personal threshold of satisfaction in each area should be a higher priority than storming ahead in one particular one; this is easily overlooked, however, hence the importance of viewing them all together.
Syd’s recommendations, and your actions, will help you keep a healthy balance and progress on all aspects of your well-being.
